According to the 4th Annual State of Manufacturing Technology Report done by Plex, The Manufacturing Cloud, the technologies that today have the greatest effect on manufacturing leaders are those that collaborate with and leverage connectivity, regardless of whether the enterprise operates entirely in the cloud or has a mix of cloud and locally installed software.
